Please read all of this info before ordering! We want you to be well-informed, as this isn't a standard food shopping experience. 

Surplus meals

Our current system–in which recipes always have to be identical and ingredients have to look perfect–creates an enormous amount of food waste at each level of the supply chain. So when we set out to develop a product line to support our community meal initiative, we wanted to challenge the expectations of perfection and consistency that lead to so much wasted food.

Food Rescue Roulette is a line of frozen, pre-made meals that change regularly according to the variety of surplus food we receive.

We offer two options: Omnivore & Vegetarian. Meals will be labelled with their ingredients, but due to the unpredictable nature of surplus, we don't recommend anyone with serious dietary restrictions or food allergies to order, as we can't make accommodations.

Ordering & Pickup

We do not have the capacity for delivery at this time. Meal boxes are available for pick up on the first and third Tuesday of each month, between 4-8pm, at Container Brewing. (1216 Franklin St in East Vancouver). 

If you can't make a pick-up one week, please arrange for a friend to grab your meals for you. If you're going to be late, or would prefer to be early, please text me at 604-290-5620 and we will try to accommodate that! 

Feel free (nay, encouraged) to grab a beer or two from our lovely pickup partners!
